Kenny, don't make me spank you in front of the rest of TT.net. You can either debate the issue with your own valid point(s) of contention or stoop to acting retarded when criticized. Due to the lower internal spring pressure in a recirc, they open earlier and close later than a BOV and therefore will be open longer. Even if a recirc flows less than a BOV in a static max lift flow test, you have to consider open time for a valid volumetric flow comparison since they operate in a dynamic world.
